Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 1, 2025
This Privacy Policy explains how Walkingman (Business Registration No. 7500703149), which operates IVYPRO("IVYPRO", "we", "us"), collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use our website and services (the "Service"). We are committed to handling the data of students and parents responsibly and in line with applicable data protection laws, including Korea's PIPA, and the GDPR and CCPA where they apply.
Payments. We do not process or store your card details. Payments are handled by our Merchant of Record, Paddle.com, which acts as an independent data controller for payment data. Please also review Paddle's Privacy Policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account information— name, email address, and the student's grade level and target exam.
- Usage & performance data — practice exam results, answers, scores, percentile estimates, and study activity used to power analytics and predictions.
- Transaction data — products purchased, order history, and billing confirmations (collected and shared with us by Paddle; we do not receive full card numbers).
- Technical data — device, browser, IP address, and cookies used to keep the Service secure and working.
2. How we use your information
- to provide, personalize, and improve the Service;
- to generate practice exams, analytics, and percentile predictions;
- to process purchases and deliver your mock test PDF (with Paddle);
- to send order confirmations and, with consent, marketing emails; and
- to detect fraud and keep the Service secure.
3. Children's privacy
The Service is purchased and managed by parents or guardians. Where a student is a minor, we collect and process their study data only for the purpose of providing test preparation, under the consent and supervision of the parent or guardian who holds the account. Parents may request access to or deletion of their child's data at any time.
4. Legal bases for processing
Where the GDPR applies, we process personal data on the bases of performance of a contract (providing the Service), your consent (for marketing), our legitimate interests (improving and securing the Service), and compliance with legal obligations.
5. Sharing your information
We share personal data only with:
- Paddle, our Merchant of Record, to process payments and taxes;
- service providers (for example, hosting, email, and analytics) that process data on our behalf under contract; and
- authorities where required by law.
We do not sell your personal data.
6. Data retention
We keep personal data for as long as needed to provide the Service and deliver your purchase, and to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email privacy@ivypro.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies to run the Service and, with your consent, analytics cookies to understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
9. International transfers & security
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where it is, we use appropriate safeguards. We apply technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit — to protect your data, though no method of transmission is completely secure.
10. Contact
For privacy questions or requests, contact us at privacy@ivypro.com or by mail at [Registered Business Address].
